While
this spot is 30 minutes from Devil's Tower, it's in a beautiful area so we would definitely return. This particular campsite was several miles off the the paved road but there were several grassy meadows a big rig could pull into before you get this far. Eldon also drove all the way to Cook's Lake and said there is plenty more campsites. There was even one on top of a hill that had Verizon service! Cook's Lake does have dispersed camping but it's $24 a night and they have no hook-ups.
