We had a wonderful time in Texas. We left early, early, early Friday morning and got there about lunchtime. Dad's quickly showed us everything we needed to know to keep the chickens alive, the fabric store running, and Melissa and Melody in line. And by Saturday afternoon they were off to New York to catch their cruise ship. Then the party started :) .
A major thing we wanted to do was build a storage shed so Eldon figured out everything he needed and put in an order at Lowe's. By Tuesday morning they delivered and he got busy.

We got it totally complete and had exactly 1 day to move our things in that we brought down. I had so much fun organizing all my neatly packed totes and boxes. And the shed is wonderful! I'm so happy with it. He built it so that a big door can go on the end so that his tractor can pull in too. And, for the first time ever he'll be able to have a tool shed too.

And then this happened. It's funny now but certainly wasn't then. Mom has one of those Amish wash lines and Makayla and Melody managed to get it off the track, way out at the other end. Along comes Eldon with the tractor to fix it.

We (Ok, mostly Eldon) packed around 16,000 eggs a day and I failed to get even 1 picture of it. Dads were gone about 8 days and we stayed 4 days after they were home. Ethan finally warmed up to mom then couldn't get enough of her. We headed to Arkansas early on a Friday morning, 2 weeks after we left. It was good to be home. Our house is so empty. And clean. Michael just walked around in awe. He asked me if we can keep it like this forever. I know the feeling, buddy :).

Or if you're just plain nosy and want to see our house go ahead and take a peek too. Our current plans are to move to Texas around the end of the year. If our house sells before then that would be amazing and we would love if you join us in prayer for that. Otherwise, we will likely be finding renters. We are so ready to be settled in our camper. The house feels huge since we have sold or moved a lot of our stuff. All in God's time!
