Leaving Florida

We cut our time in Florida a few weeks short since covid19 was causing more and more closures and we certainly didn't want to get stuck in a metro area. Two long days got us to Pennsylvania, where we spent a short 4 days with family then headed for Montana. Again, we drove 10 to 12 hours a day and just pulled in a Wal-Mart each night.
We had just entered North Dakota when Makayla shrieked (very uncharacteristic for her), "Mom, look how HUGE the sky is! And blue!" We are all thrilled to be back in big open spaces.
But, here's a photo dump of our last days in Florida and our Pennsylvania visit.

The children in our neighborhood. Hours and hours of happy playing was done!

Our friends had a wonderful house tucked back into a little woods. We had such a great time here!

Playing games with Uncle Steven

Cooties!

Poor little John was doted on every minute.

More game playing!

They were blowing bubbles and the dogs were eating them 😂

Ethan loved Uncle Eugene's cute puppies.

As always, Kylie hosts great attic parties! Lots of cousin fun here.

Genea and her puppies

Grace and I had donuts and coffee one morning with our girls.

Ethan especially loved Grandma's Lincoln Logs.

The view from dad's new place.

It's such a cute house in the woods!

And of course there is cats :).

Dad's house from the front.

Watching a bulldozer at work.

Emily loved the big swing.

Tea party time!

Petting the calves. Emily and Michael helped Uncle Lavern do chores almost everyday we were there.

Lavern's farm.

Ethan had so much fun with his cousin Arlin.

Hunting.

More doting on John

Grandma had an early birthday celebration for Ethan and Makayla.

Ethan is quite pleased with his new train.

Emily reading to Laura.

So now we're back in Montana, as settled as we'll get for awhile. Pretty much everything is still closed but we're hoping that changes in the next week. Have a blessed day!
