On our trek from Arizona to Texas, we wiggled our route around so that we could hit the only big city we've been to and loved. From January to September of 2017 Eldon was stationed here. This is where we were when we bought a new camper and truck, Emily learned to ride bike with no training wheels, I had my appendix removed, we had a miscarriage, Ethan was potty trained, Michael lost his first tooth, any many other memorable events!
We stayed at the San Angelo State Park and much to our delight, a few of the same rangers were still there and remembered us! We were even more happy to see our friend Buddy there too and doing well. Eldon was able to help him with an electrical issue on his camper and he loved visiting with the children.
