Mayborn Museum in Waco, TX

We were all so happy to finally arrive at my parents place, in Texas. Eldon has fixed it up so that we have full hook-ups and that was a luxury after boondocking for 3 weeks!

The first Saturday we were there they took us to this great museum. Mom had purchased the grandparents pass so they treated us. I'm really not sure who enjoyed it more, us, the children, or the grandparents 😁. It really is a fantastic place and we didn't spend nearly enough time here to learn even a fraction of the information!

They sure do love grandma and grandpa!

The Eric Carlisle Exhibit was the first one we went into and Ethan loved it! Imagine you're a bug, walking through the grass.......

Spider webs!

My one picture from the Texas History Exhibit. I was much to fascinated to take more!

The outdoor village was a fun walk. Here we are checking out the lawers office.

Going to the chapel!

The General Store was so tiny!

The King boys playing checkers.

The little red schoolhouse.

And you can't have a town a livery!

The rancher's house. Funny thing is, we picked the little cabin behind this that the tenant farmers lived in for "ours".

Emily and Makayla with their favorite aunts (don't worry, they like the others too 😉)

The train model was a major work of art!

Ethan loved this room where it made it appear that dinosaurs were walking beside and over us.

The motion room! You don't have to be young to enjoy a museum!

We spent more time in the Old West room because...... dress up clothes!

He was so excited to be a real cowboy!

Melody and Makayla got busy cooking.

Michael and Melissa weaving a carpet.

The water room is always a hit!

Emily in a bubble!

Even though I didn't get the best pictures or write a lot, this is our favorite museum by far. Of course, the company helped too! So after our very enjoyable morning together, dad and mom had us choose a place for lunch and treated us to that too. We quickly agreed on CiCi's Pizza because it's hard to go wrong with a pizza buffet! We were not disappointed!
