After leaving South Carolina, we continued north where it got colder and colder. By the time we reached our destination in North Carolina, it was in the 40's with a brisk wind. On the bright side, we had a super friendly host at our Boondockers Welcome site and he invited the children to roam in his woods and play in the yard as much as they wanted.
