It seems hard to believe that it's almost time to have it all packed and hit the road. So much to do and so little time. The last week has been a blur but a good one. Both Thursday and Friday were spent doing fun things with friends and we would never trade that time. Saturday Eldon shampooed all the carpets. His idea too. They look amazing.
We are living in the camper now. Almost everything is in there that should be except kitchen items. The camper is a disorganized mess. We still have lots of loose ends to put together. If this was a normal move we could just throw it in boxes and be done. But this is not normal since there will be no unpacking at the end so everything must be meticulously sorted and marked. On the bright side, the items we use daily have their own spot and we can sleep in our own beds every night. Hurray for RV living!
Makayla has been writing all sorts of sweet notes like this.
This was a few days ago when my house was all fairly neat. Don't come today, it's hard to get in the door :).
We don't have internet other then our phones for the time being so blogging is hard. I plan to get to Texas and spend about a day getting the camper set up at dads then sleep for three days. If only the children could get on board with that plan too :). And then I have more pictures I want to upload.
We appreciate your prayers the next few days. For energy and wisdom to get it all packed, moved, and finish cleaning the house. For the children to be happy. Ethan chose this week to cut teeth so I get little done without him clinging to me. Very thankful for baby carriers. And then for safety as we travel. Our camper is 31 feet long and we tow with an Excursion so it takes Eldon's full attention. And again, little Ethan needs special prayer since he hates his carseat. Makayla does so well at entertaining but 500 miles is a long ways.
Have a very Merry Christmas!
